Hello!!
My name is Elaine, and I currently live in the wild world of NYC. I've been sewing casually for probably around 10 years?!?! but in the last 5 or so have decided to really work on my techniques and quality to make better garments. In general I have a hard time finding RTW clothes that fit me properly and I also am trying to reduce my consumption of fast fashion!
I am a scientist, just finishing up my PhD in pharmacology and I hope to work on antibiotic research as long as I can! Besides sewing I love scary movies, music/going to concerts, hiking, cooking, and dreaming about getting a dog. I foster cats so if you live in NYC and are looking to adopt a furry friend....
